Slavery

It has been reported that Charleston, SC., the city where half of all slaves first set foot on American soil has apologized for its part in slavery.  The uprising of a nation to its detriment and part of a racial epidemic is at hand.  The forces of evil are still active and present in our nation.  Is the apology to late?  Can race relations be healed?  What good can come out of it?  The answer to each question lies in each individual and their ability to forgive.  For many in this religious society that we find ourselves in, would rather  continue to hate, yet the bible say we must forgive others and their trespasses that our heavenly father may forgive us.  We often forget the parts of the bible that holds each us accountable to our own actions.   The racist spirit is indeed grounded in the heart of this nation.  It still exist.  We must overcome evil with good.  We must root out every evil spirit until it divides us no more.   Slavery existed in the bible; yet we fail to see this.  Evil is present everywhere but thanks be unto God that we are no longer bound in the natural or our spirit.  But we must choose better as a nation of people.  We must choose love in the midst of hate.  How can we overcome evil?  We overcome evil with Love!  Dare to choose love today, even when evil rears its ugly head.

A Prayer

Father God in the name of Jesus,  I pray over my blog right now and father I ask you that for every person that reads any post, father that you would grab hold of and overcome them by your Holy Spirit.  Father I ask that you bring them inner peace and give the reader a resolve for whatever situation they may be facing in the mighty name of Jesus.  These and other blessings I pray right now in Jesus the Christ, son of the only true and living God's name.   Amen

Wait on the Lord

Wait upon the Lord and be of good courage

and God shall strengthen your heart.  Wait I say, on the Lord.  You shall mount of with wings like an eagle.  You shall run and not get weary.  You shall walk and not faint.  Wait, I say upon the Lord! Ps 27:14, Isa 40:31

The Lord is the Lifter of our head!!!

Are you feeling down and depressed?  Is your situation talking to you and very loudly?  Is your situation whispering fear in your ear, telling you God is not with you, you will not make it?  Is your situation making you doubt God even just a little bit? 

I'm here to tell someone, today, that God has your best interest in mind. God is with you and
God will never leave you, nor forsake.  In the midst of your struggle God is with you.    Scripture records (para) that God  is near as such as be a broken heart and saves the meek in spirit! (Ps 34:18) It is through your brokenness that you are nearer to God and he is able to show himself as the ultimate miracle worker in your life.  Start speaking back to your situation and declaring the word of God. Tell your situation, above all, God is able!  God is able! He will never leave you, nor forsake!  He is the lifter of your head! (Ps 3:3) Oh ye gates be lifted up and the king of glory shall come in!  Who is the King of Glory but the Lord God Almighty!  Stop walking in doubt and unbelief and declare what God has spoken to you in his holy word over your life and over your situation.  You shall live and not die! By his stripes you are healed! He is your provider, your shield, your high tower, your strong tower!  A very present help in times of trouble!

Be Blessed  today knowing that God is able and that God Is!

 I pray that the blessing of God overtake you on today and that he gives you peace for your weary soul! In Jesus name I pray.

Can anything good come out of a bad situation?

The answer to my question is Yes!  Even in the midst of horriffic, ugly and bad situations good still exist.   God says that he is with us until the end.  God is good!  In the midst of adversity God is still with us and God is good.  He says in his word that even though we walk throught the valley of the shadow of death, he is with us.  His rod and his staff comforts us.  Life is but a mist, a vapor that can vanish at any moment.  We must not be afraid of daily interactions and trangressions.  God is still with us and he is good.  Can good come out of seemingly ugly situations?  Yes, because he gave us the power to choose life and death and because he is with us we can choose good!  God is good and even in an ugly situation good can arise.   When we forgive in the midst of adversity the love of God is shown.  Are we as a people really obeying the law of God?  For in this is his delight and in this is life.  When we obey his law we do good inspite of how we feel and what we think.  God is good!  God is always good!  Even in the midst of present evil!
